We have been learning about the Parts of Speech (nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, and pronouns). Today we read the book "Richard Was a Picker" to help us find some awesome examples.
We also practiced our Parts of Speech by doing a Wacky Web Tale:

Math
We have been focusing on the addition strategy of Partial Sums (or Expanded Form). In Grade 4, students should be proficient with adding 3-digit and 4-digit numbers to get sums that are in the 5-digits. Ask your child how they would solve these addition questions using the Partial Sums/Expanded Form method:
Mild - 75 + 43
Medium - 692 + 328
Spicy - 2852 + 8118
