Some students in 4B might be bringing home some Humanities homework. Today was the last day to work on our symbols of Alberta project, and any students that have not yet finished were encouraged to bring their Visual Journals home to finish. The expectations are to have a realistic sketch with 5-10 jot notes of information about each of:
- Provincial Flower - Wild Rose
- Provincial Bird - Great Horned Owl
- Provincial Fish - Bull Trout
- Provincial Mammal - Bighorn Sheep
- the Alberta Coat of Arms
We learned a new addition math strategy today. Ask your child how you would solve the following problem using the Base 10 Blocks strategy:
