It's happening --- THE ROYAL TYRRELL MUSEUM VIRTUAL VISIT
Tomorrow morning at 8:30 we will:
Take a tour of the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology without leaving our classroom! During this interactive virtual visit, we will be guided through world-renowned galleries and exhibits. Marvel at creatures from ancient seas, explore Dinosaur Hall, and discover how life carried on after the asteroid impact that marked the end of the Age of Dinosaurs.
We are particulary excited to check out this exhibit,
CRETACEOUS GARDEN
The ancient Alberta landscape was much different than what you see today. Dinosaurs and other animals lived in a lush, coastal environment dotted with swamps, ponds, and marshes. Experience what that environment was like in the Cretaceous Garden and see Canada’s largest collection of prehistoric plant relatives.
